Orthopedic Residency

At Excel Physical Therapy we take pride in our PT team and want to give them every opportunity to advance their learning beyond graduate school. For this reason, we have partnered with The Jackson Clinics to create an opportunity for Orthopedic Residency within our clinic.

Excel Physical Therapy is a clinical partner site of The Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Residency. Residents training at Excel Physical Therapy are participants in The Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Residency, an accredited residency program, and are not enrolled in a separate residency program offered by Excel Physical Therapy. Program curriculum, administration, and residency oversight are provided through The Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Residency in collaboration with participating clinical partner sites.

Information regarding program accreditation status, program outcomes, graduation/completion rates, and resident achievement data is published by The Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Residency. Any outcomes data reported for the residency applies to the residency program as published by The Jackson Clinics unless otherwise specifically stated.

General Overview:

• Hybrid/Blended residency where didactic information is performed online, mentorship performed here in Bozeman, and lab skills/tests performed at The Jackson Clinics in Virginia four times over the course of the residency.
• No out-of-pocket costs for the resident to participate
• The program begins each January and runs for approximately 15 months.
• The Orthopedic Board Certification exam is taken in March at the end of the program.
